Lenin also isn't a bad choice if she is still available. It is a more fun ship to play than Alabama if you know how to use her but it isn't as good as Alabama. She's not an all-arounder but she's good at the rush and brawl if you know how to do that. It's basically works like a premium North Carolina even though she is not the same class. Tirpitz is always fun if she is still available. Alabama as others have said is very solid. It's a solid all-rounder but I would get Atago first unless you are a huge fan of Baltimore.įor BBs I would have recommended Mass but she is unavailable now. It's a slightly smaller and more agile Baltimore. The only substandard thing about her is her AA, but her heals paper over that.Ī dark horse for cruisers is Wichita if you like Baltimore. It's fast, it has good guns, it's concealment is really good, and it's torps are excellent with excellent arcs. It's heal more than makes up for its relative fragility for a CA. Some history: the Massachusetts fired the first and last 16in shells of the war, has 11 battle stars to the Alabamas 9, and most interestingly the Massachusetts did not lose a single sailor nor marine during deployment. It's unusual for an IJN ship in that it is really solid. Others have said this but for a cruiser I would recommend Atago highly. Currently owning the Arizona, Texas, Atlanta, Diana, and Eugen as my premium ships and i'm looking to get opinions on other/new premiums that are going on strong.
